Age: Children under 18 CANNOT be placed. We are a Base Level RBWO Level facility and we are unable to accept young adults who have severe special needs in any mental, medical, physical, and behavioral.

Chenault Youth Services has instituted outreach services that will provide the necessary support, encouragement, structure, and interventions essential for success in growth. These services consist of the following:

Scattered sites apartment living services;

Home management & safety services;

Life skills training programs;

Employment services; and
-
Educational referrals.
Housing
CYS offers Scattered Sites Apartment Living for young adults in a 1 to 3-bedroom apartment unit. Additional services include:

Employment
CYS connect young adults with local industries and employment programs so the young adults will have the opportunity to explore career opportunities and develop a plan to achieve their career aspirations, visions, goals and dreams.

Chenault Youth Services has partnerships with several local businesses with apprenticeship opportunities that will help train a new generation of practitioners of a trade or profession with on the job training and often some accompanying study.
